Edenwise is a small, privately run tool offered to invited families. These terms set out what you can expect from it and what it expects from you.
Who provides this service

This is not financial advice
Edenwise records and displays numbers you enter yourself. It is a calculator and a ledger — not a financial adviser. Nothing in it, including the investment calculator, the inflation figures, the insights or the biblical material, is investment, tax or legal advice, and none of it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Figures such as exchange rates and inflation are convenience defaults that may be out of date; check anything that matters before acting on it. For decisions of consequence, consult a qualified professional.
Your account
Registration requires an invitation. Keep your password to yourself, use one you do not use elsewhere, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Acceptable use
Use Edenwise for your own household's finances. Do not attempt to access other households' data, disrupt the service, or use it for anything unlawful.
Availability, and keeping your own copy
This is a personal project run on a single server. There is no guaranteed uptime, no support desk and no promise that the service will continue to exist. It may be interrupted for maintenance, may contain faults, and may be discontinued.
Backups are made, but you should keep your own copy of anything you would be sorry to lose. Use the Excel or JSON export regularly — it takes one click.
Liability
Edenwise is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damages arising from its use, from errors in the figures it displays, or from loss of data. Liability for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health, remains unaffected.
Ending it
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone. The operator may close accounts that breach these terms.
Governing law
The law of [[COUNTRY OF JURISDICTION]] applies, in so far as mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence does not provide otherwise. Last updated: 2026-07-26.
